Parallel Titration of Duplicates

Analysis with Ion Selective Electrodes with 'Sync' Method Function

This application note provides a detailed workflow for the automated parallel titration of duplicated samples. To improve the sample throughput, the two identical titrations involve synchronizing different methods using the "Sync" method function.

Why Perform Parallel Titration?

Simultaneous titration of duplicated samples is an excellent way to increase sample throughput since it reduces the analysis time by at least 50%. By titrating duplicates in parallel, samples from different market segments can be handled simultaneously, saving time and increasing the efficiency of your laboratory work.

How to Perform Parallel Titration?

Connecting a Titration Excellence T9  to an InMotion™ Autosampler with two towers allows you to process a higher number of samples. Two identical titrations using ion-selective electrodes are performed with two methods. These methods are synchronized using the method function "Sync." LabX™ software controls the parallel titration for a fully automated analysis, saving time and enhancing throughput.

What Is a Sync Function?

The sync function performs a series sequence allowing for a simultaneous start of the two methods with OneClick™. In this application, two synchronization codes, i.e., "1" and "2," are used for synchronizing the two methods running simultaneously in both workspaces A and B.
